Integrative Medicine (INTM) is defined by The American Board of Integrative Medicine® (ABOIM®) and the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health as the practice of medicine that reaffirms the importance of the practitioner-patient relationship. INTM is whole person, evidence-based medicine that makes use of all appropriate therapeutic approaches, health care professionals, and disciplines to achieve optimal health and healing.
Recognizing the need to prepare providers to adapt to this method of health care, the George Washington University (GW) School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) created unique opportunities for health care professionals to enhance their education with an online Master of Science in Health Sciences (MSHS) or Graduate Certificate in INTM.
The online Master of Science in Health Sciences (MSHS) in INTM represents the most progressive, scientifically rigorous, and forward-thinking educational platform for personalized and lifestyle medicine
The fellowship, as an extension of the MSHS program, produces competent, skilled health professionals and confers a broad set of proficiencies that can be directly applied to the clinic, research, business...
